NOVOUS VITAE was founded in 1995 in Tampa, Florida for the sole purpose of advocating for and empowering individuals to create communities and neighborhoods that thrive socially, economically and educationally through the personal contributions of and services to the community by the citizens of the communities.

Art facilitates and encourages the opportunity for free expression. Performing arts, music, writing, painting, dance and etc. have proven to be therapeutic for youth served by Novous Vitae. These opportunities foster a safe environment for youth to share and work through the day to day issues of life.
Novous facilitates the natural gifts and talents of youth to produce works of art. Students have produced music videos, paintings, murals as creative place-making in their community. These works form a District which continues to cultivate free expression and facilitates the work
